Meet Micki Neiman.
Micki Neiman is an undergraduate journalism student at the University of Missouri, a reporter for KOMU-TV, and the on-air host and executive producer for her own TV show, Millennial Millionaires. Micki has a knack for storytelling; she is steadfast in her practice, and eager to share the power of information.
The type of journalism that solves problems is the journalism that has captivated Micki’s heart, and is the field of journalism that she continues to pursue. Micki believes that reporting is not only the act of storytelling, but pursuit to become an integrated member of communities. Because of this, she believes that the best way to be a servant leader and effective reporter is to be hands-on with the experiences of community members, and to serve as a local representative of herself, her employer, her community, and her industry.
Micki is the epitome of the phrase, “glass half full.” She thrives off of optimism, and pursues collaboration with her peers. Anyone who crosses paths with Micki is left with a positive impression, and an admiration for her work ethic.
